Welcome to The Village, a fee-simple townhouse community located in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. The Village is officially known as The Richlieu Homeowners Association, named after the developer who constructed its 237 homes.

The Village was built between 1978 and 1985 on what was the Buxton Farm, a dairy farm owned by Dick and Frank Buxton. The clubhouse located at the entrance to The Village was once used for bottling milk and making ice cream. Frank Buxton opened a chain of Buxton ice cream stores that operated throughout New Jersey.

Now the former dairy farm is home to residents who enjoy the use of the land, pool, tot lots and clubhouse. The Village was the first townhouse development to be built in Lawrence Township, and most believe that it remains the best built in the area.
